Type: Moving Magnet (MM)Stylus: Bonded ConicalCompliance: Low/MediumPrice: £15-25 (AT3600L), £20-30 (AT91) Background The Audio Technica AT3600L is a cartridge that I briefly experienced as the stock cartridge on a couple of budget turntables that passed through my hands and impressed me in my low-budget, secondary system. The phono preamp can be built into the 'table, built into a receiver, or housed in a separate component. It features an ultra-lightweight (9 g) aluminum die-cast body to keep vibration to a minimum and a finger l. But for the rest I agree, headshell changes are a smarter move for cartridges swaps. The AT-HS6 is a universal ½'-mount headshell for 4-pin turntable cartridges. So this goes to tell that it aimed for cartridges swaps. Last alloy Ortofon SPU "G" type headshell I bought had very old wires soldered to the pins inside the headshell.
